Product Review: Laneige's New Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Range

If you’ve been around for a bit, you may have already heard of Laneige and their Water Bank skincare line. This has been one of their top-selling lines for a while, but now they’ve done a revamp and are re-releasing their much loved products with a new packaging style and updated formulas. We’re here to tell you all about each of the products in this re-release, what the new look is, how they’ve improved the product itself, and more.

These products are packed in cute blue packaging, some are all opaque, some are matte clear, and all are perfectly adorable and aesthetic. It’ll make you happy to display your skincare right out on the counter for all to appreciate.

Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Emulsion and Essence Toner

The Water Bank Blue Emulsion is a lightweight and fast-absorbing emulsion that nourishes skin with deep layers of hydration to reveal a balanced skin tone, and it’s formulated with microparticles of Blue Hyaluronic Acid to help hydrate skin from deep within. It also contains vitamin B5 (Panthenol) and probiotics to help restore and strengthen the skin’s natural moisture barrier. This emulsion comes in two different formulas, each geared for either normal and dry skin types and the other for oily and combination skin types.

The Water Bank Blue Toner is a multi-tasking, hydrating toner that not only delivers deep moisture to the skin but also gently refines the skin’s texture. This toner contains Blue Hyaluronic Acid and Lactobacillus ferment extract to deeply hydrate and soothe your skin as well as improve its moisture retention. This fast-absorbing, non-drying toner nourishes the skin while preparing it for the next step in your skincare routine, as well as balances the skin’s natural moisture levels to leave it feeling comfortable without tightness or dryness. It also has a nice, lightly floral scent. This toner is also available in two different formulas, each geared for either normal and dry skin types and the other for oily and combination skin types.

This lightweight but luxuriously textured cream helps hydrate and repair the skin from deep inside to reveal a healthy, balanced complexion. Formulated with microparticles of Blue Hyaluronic Acid to help hydrate. It also contains vitamin B5 (Panthenol) and probiotics to help restore and strengthen the skin’s natural moisture barrier. It has the same fresh scent as the other items in the line, and even comes with a tiny spatula!

Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Serum

The Water Bank Blue Serum is a lightweight, fast-absorbing serum that delivers deep hydration within the skin’s layers to reveal a supple and radiant complexion. It’s made with Laneige’s proprietary blue Hyaluronic Acid for deep and long-lasting hydration. Peptides and green tea enzymes help improve the skin’s tone and firmness to reveal a smoother, more even skin tone. This product is hypoallergenic, dermatologist-tested, and suitable for even the most sensitive skin types.
